General Guidelines
All contractors in the electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or roofing trades are eligible for the Herb Cundiff Scholarship. Contractors must be located in the United States or Canada. Both existing businesses and start-up companies are eligible for this award.
The Scholarship will be awarded at the discretion of Success Group International. Applicants will be considered on a number of criteria including, but not limited to:
- Financial need
- Career goals
- Business performance
- Self-motivation
- Demonstration of excellence
Additionally, special circumstances will be taken into consideration during the judging.
The Scholarship recipient can apply the funds towards membership in any of Success Group International’s organizations – AirTime 500, Plumber Success International, Electrician’s Success International and Roofer’s Success International. Memberships are limited to open territories as determined by Success Group International.

Application Request
Before you complete the scholarship application, please read the following carefully.
Please Note:
- Applications become available on July 1st each year and must be postmarked or delivered to Success Group International by December 1st. At that time, all completed applications will be processed and delivered to the Scholarship Selection Committee.
- In order to be eligible to receive an application you must not be a family member of any employee of Clockwork Home Services

Scholarship Selection Process
One deserving contractor will be awarded the Herb Cundiff Scholarship following the application and review process. Only fully completed applications will be considered for the award.
The Herb Cundiff Scholarship Fund selection committee will review all applications and rank each candidate in the appropriate areas. These rankings will then be systematically compiled via computer to ensure that no applicant is rejected or included because of one bad or good ranking. Candidates will receive an overall ranking, and based on their overall ranking will either be rejected or asked to interview.
Candidates who are asked to interview will be contacted by Success Group International via email, phone and regular mail to schedule an interview with the selection committee. Interviews will be conducted with all candidates to determine a final winner.
By combining the overall rankings, the selection committee’s interview recommendations, financial need, and additional factors, a winner will be decided upon.
